The orangutan’s path to extinction is a horror story as their forests are macheted and burnt for agricultural use, such as palm oil production. When you purchase an orangutan bracelet, you plant 3 trees in Indonesia and help fund the conservation of orangutans.
Every bracelet purchased funds 3 planted trees in Indonesia and finances awareness content on social media.
An additional 10% of the profits go to a non-profit organisation: The Orangutan Project.
Easy to wear.
Unisex, waterproof design.
Adjustable from 12 to 24 cm in diameter.

Includes a tree planting certificate.
PLANT & PREVENT
Keeping trees alive is as important as planting new ones. This is why we finance awareness videos on social media, to show people what we can do to minimise the impact of deforestation in our everyday lives. Along with financing tree planting projects, we also finance the protection of our newly planted trees.
Orangutans are closely related to humans, having 97% of DNA in common.
We might lose orangutans in the next 10 years.
An orangutan fighting for its forest
“As the destruction of the rainforest causes more global warming than all the transport systems in the world combined, the protection of the orangutans’ habitat benefits all future generations.” – The Orangutan Project
Deforestation destroys the orangutan’s habitat
Sumatra and Borneo (Indonesia) are the only places in the world that orangutans can be found in the wild. Unfortunately, these are also areas with one of the highest deforestation rates in the world.
Both Sumatran and Bornean orangutans are labelled as “Critically Endangered” according to IUCN red List of threatened species. Increasing deforestation does not help them.
Palm oil production is one of the main reasons for deforestation in Indonesia. Together, we can say “no” to products containing palm oil. By purchasing an orangutan bracelet, you join our conservation efforts for orangutans.
HAND-ASSEMBLED IN SLOVENIA, CREATING JOBS FOR THE LOCALS ALL OVER THE WORLD
Purchasing a Treecelet bracelet does more than just plant trees. Our bracelets are hand-made in Slovenia by mothers that take care of their children at home. This way, they can work from home and raise our most precious gold – children. Are children not one of the main reasons to preserve nature?
The bracelets also provide sustainable and living-wage jobs to local people where the trees are planted. By financing tree planting projects, nature preservation becomes their mission.
