Polar bear fur is translucent, and only appears white because it reflects visible light. Beneath all that fur, their skin is jet black. Therefore, polar bears are actually black, not white.

Polar bears are spending 50% of their time hunting for food. Because of climate change their efficiency of catching the food is very low. It means that a polar bear might catch only one or two out of 10 seals it hunts.

Because they need a large amount of fat to survive the only food, they can eat is ringed and beard seal. Which is very difficult for them to hunt, because of the warm weather that’s turning all the sea ice into water.
